New records of some rare Carabidae from central Amazonian basin are presented. The third record of the extraordinary rare Holoprizus serratus Putzeys of the Scaritine tribe Salcediini is especially worth mentioning. In addition, new records are presented for the Bembidiine species Pericompsus immaculatus Bates, P. reticulatus Erwin, and P. striatopunctatus Baehr. Some records extend considerably the known range of the species mentioned.
