We thank Dr Gordon Plant and Merle James-Galton for helping clarify a few points about our article, and for highlighting the value of CORVIST. We accept the Queen Square Screening Test for Visual Defects, is exactly as the same suggests, a screening test. However, in order to be able to quantify the results for the purpose of a study some form of scoring system was required. One of our aims was to highlight that visuospatial abnormalities are often under-recognised in cognitive impairment and this screening test may be useful in identifying such a problem. We acknowledge that comparative testing over time will be of value.
