Abstract

DTPA is a more effective source of Zn, Mn and Cu than is EDTA for calcareous soils and equally effective as EDDHA as a source of Fe on a calcareous sandy soil of pH 7.5. FeDTPA was not effective on a calcareous loam soil while FeEDDHA was. A Krilium‐like polymer which increased water‐stable aggregates in the soil increased vegetative wheat yield.
