Abstract
A combination of ZnEDTA (19 mg Zn), MnEDTA (14 mg Mn) and FeHEDTA (7 mg Fe) was applied to soil in pots (1000 g soil) with tomato plants to simulate a transplant solution. Severe injury occurred on one set of plants, especially for a 2 × application when the soil was allowed to dry out but not enough to wilt plants. Warm weather contributed to the results. Injury was less intense when soil moisture was maintained near ‐1/3 bar.
