In this paper, the degradation of poplar lignin with ozone is studied. Experiments are conducted in a fixed bed reactor. Effect of moisture content of the lignocellulosic material, gas flow, ozone content in the oxygen flow and space velocity are studied using a complete factorial scheme. Moreover, water soluble products are analyzed by H.P.L.C.
