ABSTRACT
Mixed micelles of tetradecyltrimethylammonium bromide (TTHAB) and a polar dendriform amphiphi1e, trialkyl (C8-C10) methyl ammonium chloride (TAMAC) gave small spherical micelles also at the highest solubilization limit of the TAMAC.
The location of the dendriform amphiphile was with the polar part at the interface; a conclusion supported by the results from an analysis of the structure of a lamellar liquid crystal of TTMAB, decanol and water with solubili2ed TAMAC.
