Abstract
This paper reviews how intricately dietary fat regulates cholesterol metabolism. The effects of fats on plasma cholesterol are far more complex than predicted. Not only the fatty acid composition but also the triacylglycerol configuration of dietary fat influence its function. Extensive comprehension is thus required for this problem.
