ABSTRACT

The self-diffusion coefficients were determined in sodium dodecyl sutfale/pcnlanol solutions with water and an aqueous concentrated ammonium hydroxide solution using NMR.

Replacing water by the ammonium hydroxide solution destabilized the liquid crystalline phase in the system and also reduced the size of the colloidal association structures in the isotropic liquid part.
