Abstract
This special issue addresses a unique aspect of group work. Given the nature of today's world, a focus on human rights is essential. The overall world situation is as threatening and portentous as it has ever been at any time in the history of the human race. The world is in disarray and we are in a state of bewilderment and perplexity. Traditional policies are not working. In history, such circumstances have often brought on revolution. But in this nuclear age, it is not revolution in the streets or revolution in technology that is called for but, rather, revolution in our thinking, in our relating, and in our being.
