Prescriptive group leadership

Abstract

Variable group leadership functions are needed to address the specific needs of different client populations and to adapt to the demands of different clinical settings. The four leadership functions described by Lieberman, Yalom, and Miles (1973) are described, and a prescriptive implementation of their use is suggested.
