Abstract
A new metric called class-metric was introduced by S harm a and Kaushik earlier. In this paper, codes correcting single class-errors have been constructed. Also, bounds on number of parity-checks, for codes correcting all bursts with restrictions on length, class-weight and number of error positions, have been derived.
