ABSTRACT
Among the Paleolithic industries of Siberia and the Russian Far East, the complexes of the Maritime Region take a special place. The year 1994 will mark 40 years of research on archaeological sites in the Zerkal 'naya River Valley in the southeastern Maritime Region. During this period habitation sites and stone Workshops were studied. In this article the author examines the main traits of this industry, which belongs to a tradition containing microcores, burins and bifaces. These materials are almost unknown to specialists in the United States and Canada.
