Analysis Of System Variables On Irrigation Economics: A Statistical Simulation Approach

Abstract

A method which generates multivariate normal data for exogenous inputs to a simulation model is used with linear regression procedures to estimate a model for calculating variable costs of irrigation. The resulting estimated model is used to calculate variable irrigation costs and analyze the impact that economic and technical variables have on irrigation costs.
