Abstract
In the paper “quantitative” continuity theorems are proved for the stationary waiting time d.f.s and their means in GI/GI/1 queues. The way to obtain bounds for the differences of stationary system characteristics consists in combining quantitative continuity theorems for instationary characteristics and bounds for the speed of convergence to the stationary characteristics. The use of monotonicity properties leads to better bounds.
