Folks and Antle [2] formulated a sufficient condition for the confidence regions for linear regression function to be exact. In this paper we modify this condition to be fulfilled at least in simplest cases. In the second part of the paper we construct a class of confidence regions determined by straight line segments. A confidence band from this class has the minimal width for any a priori given value of the independent variable from the interval
