Pages 2-3 | Published online: 13 Feb 2013

Notes

It is interesting to note that there are, to my knowledge, no attempts on the part of the proponents of Yakov Zahavi's thesis to support it empirically and prove that the elasticity is indeed minus one.

For an analysis of an expository example, see Zöllig, C.; Axhausen, K. W. (2012): Assessment of infrastructure investments using agent-based accessibility. In Geurs, K. T.; Krizek, K. J.; Reggiani, A. (eds.), Accessibility Analysis and Transport Planning, Cheltenham: Edward Elgar, pp. 54–70.
