Abstract
In this paper we study a class of continuous transportation problems and its dual problems. We develop extreme points structure for such problems and give a condition for extreme point to be an optimal solution. An algorithm is shown to make an improvement from the current assignment extreme point to another assignment extreme point for solving continuous transportation problem.
