The surveillance market includes various digital video recorder (DVR) systems. Six criteria – feasibility, economy, service, equipment functionality, management, and past achievements – are considered to assess DVRs made by three companies. This study evaluates the quality of three digital video recorder systems using grey relational analysis (GRA). Finally, a case study is presented to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.
