Abstract

Hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) and Electric vehicle (EV) are currently needed to our transportation system due to low carbon emission and lack of fossil fuel in near future. Mathematical proof of efficiency enhancement in use of HEV and approximate mathematical model of EV in terms of Power, Energy, Force etc. are presented in this paper. Feasibility of HEV with Bidirectional Half Bridge DC-DC Converter as charger and Brush less DC (BLDC) motor, is presented in MATLAB simulation at prototype level of power scale 10:1 range with practical data of components.
