Abstract
It is not easy, at this time, to know what to say about this topic or what to do about educating for the future in South Africa. We are faced with an historically monstrous situation, with a political order which has lost its legitimacy and is increasingly dependent on blatant repression to maintain itself, and with very little by way of precedent to help us through the minefield.
