Single Line Inter IC Data Transfer—An Idea

Abstract

The present paper describes hardware and software details of single line inter IC data transfer. The transferring algorithm is mainly as it is in the I2C* type of communication. It is that the hardware would eventually be a part or a peripheral of a microprocessor or microcontroller, so that the register/latches can be read or written by control of the software.

Jayant S Kathe

Jayant Sadashiv Kathe, has a Post Diploma in Medical Electronics from Technical Board of Maharashtra (1990) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from University of Bombay in 1998.

He worked as trained engineer in Medisystems Pvt Ltd for six months in the area of medical electronics and then joined Electronics Regional Test Lab (W) a test/cali.

His work involves testing of variety of electronic equipment & subsystems as per national, international standards, customer specifications, evolving test method, test procedures, making of testing jigs and calibration. His hobbies are reading (technical works), designing and making simple electronic circuits and Ham Radio.
