Abstract
Low levels of environmental radiation exposures using developed LiF:(Mg, Cu, P) phosphor were measured. Fast step heating technique was applied to reduce the time of measurement. The thermoluminescence glow readout time was only 5 seconds. Most of the thermoluminescence (TL) information was extracted in the first attempt of the readout. However, small thermoluminescence signal was also observed in the second attempt of the thermoluminescence readout of the same phosphor. Glow curves from environmental radiation exposures as low as 0.001 mSv were recorded very clearly.
