V P Kulkarni
V P Kulkarni is MTech from IIT Kharagpur and Ph D Tech from USSR. He has held various positions of responsibilities and contributed to the R&D, production and quality control and technology transfer as well as project planning, implementation, management and direction of India's space programme during the years 1967 to 1992. Subsequently he was the Director and Chairman of Electronics R&D Centre, Trivandrum in the Department of Electronics (now MIT) of Govt of India for six years. After superannuating he has worked as UGC visiting Professor at the Kerala University. Currently he is President and CEO of a 3G communications company at Trivandrum. Dr Kulkarni is a fellow of IETE, and is currently a council member. He was vice president of IETE during 98–99.
