Abstract

A brief review of progress in research and development in microwave vacuum electronic devices (MVEDs), carried out in premier research and academic institutions in the country, is presented. It includes a brief historical perspective and indigenous achievements made in basic theoretical analysis and computer-aided design, technology, prototype development, and production of MVEDs. A brief perspective on current developments and future projections in this area is also included.
