Abstract

A discussion has been carried out on the features of neural networks and the applications of Hopfield model neural network in solving the combinatorial optimization problems. Satellite broadcast scheduling problem has been considered, for example. A new method has been presented for optimizing the satellite broadcast schedules based on the Hopfield neural model in combination with the mean field annealing theory.
