The text for the feature on the 40th anniversary of the Wits History Workshop (‘Working History, History Working: 40 years of the History Workshop’, SAHJ vol 71 issue 2, p. 322) is by Cynthia Kros. It was originally written for an exhibition under the same title at the Fassler Galley (John Moffat Building, Wits University) as part of the SAHS conference in June 2017 that was curated by Sally Gaule with Noor Nieftagodien, Anne Heffernan, Thembani Dube, Gabriele Mohale and Cynthia Kros. The migrant worker logo revisitations were commissioned as part of this exhibition; they were conceptualised by Cynthia Kros and executed by the artist Andrea Rolfes. The History Workshop posters published in the SAHJ feature were selected by Arianna Lissoni.
