Abstract
It is suggested by a growing number of political scientists that the concept of a neutral Political Science is a myth and that this idea, although mostly unconsciously, has become a front for a very clear conservative bias. There are those who charge that behaviouralistic political science is acting as a spokesman for the existing politico‐economic order in the United States. The aim of this article is to examine the nature of this alleged sanctioning of the status quo and to outline the revolt against this within the context of American Political Science while at the same time critically evaluating this revolt.
