ABSTRACT

This paper, first delivered at the 1979 Conference, reviews 25 years of experimental research into production and presentation variables. A number of suggestions are made for continuing research in specific areas and a bibliography of 45 references is appended.

G.O. Coldevin

Dr. Gary Coldevin is Associate Professor in the Graduate Program in Educational Technology, Concordia University, Montreal. In addition to the broadcasting surveys of Kenya and Tanzania described in previous J.E.T. articles (volume 5, no. 3 and volume 6, no. 2), he has served as UNESCO mass communication advisor to two television development projects in India, and was recently involved in the use of radio for non‐formal educational campaigns in Brazil.
