Abstract
This study describes the development and dissemination of a multi‐media package for inservice education for ‘teachers’ (INSET) in social‐service settings, and details its effectiveness when used in a variety of services with a diversity of staff. Three elements, critical to the success of this model, are identified and discussed. It is argued that this approach is a feasible strategy for future developments.
