Abstract

The development of an ‘altitude to industry’ scale is described. Whilst such scales already exist (Page & Nash, 1980), there appears to be none which caters exclusively for the 16‐19 age group. It is intended to use the scale to assess the attitudes of students undertaking ‘A’ level science studies with varying amounts of industrial material in their syllabuses.
