Abstract
Measuring the economic effects of tourism is best achieved through an Input-Output framework. The normalisation procedure of Input-Output analysis implies that a sample survey will suffice, which reduces the burden of computation. This method provides a wealth of information with which to examine the importance of tourism to the local economy.
