Regional Shopping Centres: Case-studies on Recent Policy Decisions in Canada and the UK

Abstract

A slowing in the speed of development of the largest Regional Shopping Centres is evident in many Western nations. Case- studies from Canada and the UK are used to illustrate some of the underlying policy issues. The speed of the reaction against large centres is especially noteworthy in the UK context.
