Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Now: Where do we fit in?

Pages 14-21 | Published online: 19 Mar 2010

Notes

1. Henceforward I will use psychoanalysis as shorthand for psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy.

2. Both these papers are published in this issue.

3. This was a study of training analysts within the EPF.

4. PhD research carried out by Dr Rosie Risq.

5. Psychoanalysis of course has a body of literature about unconscious factors in the relationship such as transference, and about processes of change and resistance, so we may well have contributions to make to understanding the outcomes across therapies.
