Abstract

This paper examines the outcome of all patients referred to an inner-city psychosexual clinic with a diagnosis of erectile failure over a three year period. Despite using a multidisciplinary approach, the study found a high drop-out rate and a relatively poor response to treatment. The factors predictive of a good outcome were being treated as a couple, and low BDI and SCL-90-R scores at initial assessment.
