Peter Jennings and Roger Ottewill of Sheffield Business School at Sheffield Hallam University examine the integration of face‐to‐face tuition with open learning methods in order to provide a high quality and varied learning experience at their institution. The authors analyse the ways in which such approaches provide competitive advantage in the crowded Higher Education environment in the U.K.
