Abstract
In the coming months, the United Nations University (UNU) and the Governor of Macau plan to officially establish the UNU Institute for Software Technology in Macau. This event will be made possible by generous political and endowment support from the governments of China and Portugal and organizations in Portugal and Macau, as well as contributions expected from the governments, organizations and private corporations of other nations.
