ABSTRACT

In my commentary, I consider the relationship between moral inquiry and democracy that sits at the core of Lake’s pragmatic project, query the project’s future direction, and propose that pragmatism would benefit from the pluralism it espouses and, particularly, from juxtaposition with other theoretical approaches.
