Abstract
The concentrations of tributyltin chloride (TBT) in a unit world model are calculated and the surface microlayer is studied as a separate environmental compartment. We have studied the occurrence, fate and residence time of TBT with the designed model. Results obtained are consistent with those of onsite environmental investigations. This model is successfully applied to the low volatile organometallic compounds.
