1 I learned about Stebbins and the Delsarte System while serving on the dissertation committee of Alisha Lenning in Communication Studies at The University of Texas at Austin. Alisha’s dissertation, “Health in Motion: Women, Health Paradigms, and Expressive Physical Culture,” was directed by Omi Osun Joni L. Jones.
