ABSTRACT
A review of the primary role that this journal (and by extension, Dr. David Smith) has played in bearing witness to the second wave of psychedelic research as our modern-day culture embraces the current third wave of the psychedelic revival, exploring through research its therapeutic uses.
Acknowledgments
Many thanks to the Journal for showing the links between psychedelics and pro-culture, pro-social, public-health-oriented projects to help legalize their careful use. I would also like to thank my former assistant, Barbara Saunders, for her research contributions to this article, and my new research assistant and co-editor, Amanda Lee, for her editing and writing acumen.
Notes
1. The renaming of the journal was recommended by Millicent Buxton-Smith, who was the former clinic conference proceedings coordinator, to reflect the changing nature of the drug culture.
