Abstract

We describe a successful anterior rectal wall advancement flap in two patients with complex rectovaginal fistulas. Our technique used a wide transversely‐incised flap, which ensures adequate blood supply, facilitates wide dissection, allows approximation of the anterior rectal wall without tension, and secures closure of the orifice of the fistula.
