Notes on contributors

Molly Wetton

The late Molly Wetton was headteacher of Heathcote Memorial Middle School in Surrey. Her account provides an affirmative response to the question posed in the title of our first article and supports the points made by Anne Squires about children's investigations and scientific ideas. Clearly science can be taught very productively even (?) in a school of social priority.
