Relating child‐rearing technique to the child's self‐conceptFootnote

Abstract

Some of the earlier studies relating childrearing technique to the child's self‐concept are reviewed. This relatedness of childrearing techniques scores and child's self-concept scores were found with correlation coefficients ranging between .4299 and .9273 with a median of .7614. The overall relatedness was found to be significant at .001 level.
