Cirrhosis of the Liver in Felty' Syndrome

Abstract

Liver involvement in Felty's syndrome seems to be uncommon. Cirrhosis of the liver in 2 patients with Felty's syndrome is described. The diagnosis was based upon increased bromsulphthalein retention, liver biopsy and splenic venogram. In one of the patients, who had previously experienced haematemesis, a shunt operation was performed.
