Resistance of two-spotted mite, Tetranychus urticae Koch (Acarina:Tetranychidae), to dicofol in New Zealand — a note

Pages 101-102 | Received 24 Sep 1984, Published online: 17 Jan 2012

Abstract

Two-spotted mites (Tetranychus urticae Koch), collected from a strawberry garden in Central Otago in 1978, were found to be resistant to dicofol, whereas others collected from an apple orchard in Auckland were shown to be susceptible. A resistance factor of 90 was calculated for the Central Otago population.
