A Rejoinder to Morrison and Jack

Pages 314-317 | Accepted 01 Jul 1990, Published online: 13 Nov 2012

Abstract

The criticisms by Morrison and Jack (Citation1990) of the behavioural analysis of therapeutic behaviour offered by Tierney and Smith (Citation1990) are examined. It is argued that none of the criticisms is valid and that the analysis offered in the original article is compatible with Kuhn’s (Citation1977) views on the nature of scientific progress.
