Abstract
As part of a growing international research programme concerned with the correlates, antecedents and consequences of individual differences in attitude toward religion, the Francis Scale of Attitude toward Christianity was translated into Czech. Data provided by a sample of 3,432 young people between the ages of 14 and 16 years attending secondary schools within the state-maintained sector supported the internal consistency, reliability and construct validity of this instrument and commended it for further use in studies conducted among young people in the Czech Republic.
