The Parapo or Para po is an ethnic cultural and economic organisation that seeks to foster stronger relations among the Yorubas both at home and in the diaspora through fundraising, welfare provisions and the celebration of Yoruba tradition and culture.

Muhammad Naguib and Gamal Abdel Nasser's coup in 1952 which removed King Farouk I from power could be seen as the pointer of Africa's immediate future.
