William West is Reader in Counselling Studies, University of Manchester, with interests in the role of spirituality in counselling/psychotherapy, the professional development of therapists, postmodern qualitative methodologies, and counselling and culture. He published Spiritual Issues in Therapy: Relating Experience to Practice in 2004 (Palgrave Macmillan).
