Summary
The thyroid gland in 87 non‐domesticated birds has been examined. Both macroscopic and histological abnormalities are infrequent. A follicular adenoma together with cases of colloid goitre and diffuse micro follicular hyperplasia are described.

La glande thyroïde de 87 oiseaux sauvages a été examinée. Les anomalies macroscopiques et histologiques sont rares. Il est décrit un adénome folliculaire ainsi que des cas de goitre colloidal et d'hyperplasie microfolliculaire diffuse.
Zusammenfassung
Die Schilddrüsen von 87 nichtdomestizierten Vögeln wurden untersucht. Makroskopische sowie histologische Abnormitäten treten selten auf. Es werden ein follikuläres Adenom und einige Fälle von Kolloidstruma und diffuser mikrofollikulärer Hyper‐plasie beschrieben.
